The newly reimagined Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa reopened in 1997 to great fanfare. The renovation had successfully modernized the property while preserving its connection to Hawaiian culture and the natural beauty of its surroundings. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability was also evident in the redesign, with efforts made to reduce energy consumption and minimize environmental impact.
